The Suzanne Visit, One: Siem Reap

Suzanne, my dear librarian friend from Indianapolis, visited me in Cambodia nearly ten days ago. Well, she’s technically still visiting and is sitting right next to me. Anyway, she leaves tomorrow, so I’ve started to make the decision to post all of the pictures from the travels. We started, after she arrived in Phnom Penh, with the bus ride up to Siem Reap. What a ride. Let’s just say that it was exhausting, and then doubly so with all the Angkor adventures. Here’s some shots from the first day. This was technically my third time in Siem Reap, and my second adventure visiting the temples, in less than four months. Yikes! First, the mandatory stop in Kampong Thom (a miserable dining experience, but we were a bit hungry).
